How colleges are pushing students to graduate sooner
Graduating students in four years, or six years at the latest, is the goal at many public universities nationwide. This series examines strategies that helped two campuses to make significant progress especially for Black and Latino students. Finishing college on time lowers tuition and living costs, reduces debt and prepares students for job demands. And, the longer it takes, the less likely students will earn a degree.
