Mississippi’s longest-serving condition superintendent of schooling explained Thursday that she will retire this summer months.

Carey Wright turned the chief of Mississippi general public educational facilities in 2013, after a 41-year vocation as an educator in Maryland and Washington, D.C. Her retirement June 30 comes on the remaining day of the state spending plan calendar year.
